Workplace health promotion – quality seal for Reform-Werke–
At a ceremony at the Ursulinenhof in Linz, Upper Austria, the Reform-Werke were awarded the Austrian Quality Seal for Workplace Health Promotion on 20 January 2009.
A committed team of the Reform-Werke and the Upper Austrian Regional Health Insurance Company (OÖGKK) successfully anchored the topic of employee health in the company for the long haul. The well-achieved implementation of the corporate health management system is evident in the possibility for all employees to participate, the good internal communication structures in health management, and the participation of employees in health-promoting measures. The active involvement of the employees is ensured by the regular employee review process with complementing questions concerning health issues, and by targeted health coaching groups. Measures to promote healthy living (back exercises at work, talks about nutrition, Vitalcheck, ...) as well as measures for individual target groups (conflict management, workplace analyses) were also part of the plan.
