The M model series is light, comfortable and reliable. In addition to the design, the machines have been subjected to a technical revision.
The two single-axle Motech M2.09 D and M2.14 L models rely on engines from MAG. A 6.3 kW (9 hp) engine is installed in the compact machine and a 10.3 kW (14 hp) engine in the more powerful machine. For extreme slope use, the machine is equipped with a centrifugal lubrication system; the standard fuel pump and dry air filter ensure the optimum mixture.
The new MotionControl clutch offers the user a special operating comfort. The wear-free multi-disc clutch in oil bath ensures that when the dead man's lever is released, the implement stops, the travel drive is braked and the engine continues to run. There is no need to restart the engine, as was the case in the past, and work can be resumed immediately.
A light 3/3 speed shuttle gearbox allows the optimum speed to be achieved for different types of work. The standard lockable differential gear ensures easy manoeuvring on the Motech M2.09 D. Steering brake clutches are fitted as standard on the Motech M2.14 L for optimum operating comfort.
Another plus for Motech M machines is the ergonomically designed operation. All operating elements are conveniently located on the left and right hand side of the handlebar. Additional comfort is provided by the new, outstanding vibration damping of the handlebar through large silent blocks. This enables fatigue-free working throughout the day. As an option, the handlebar can also be equipped with a lateral adjustment and hand guard.
The tried and tested REFORM characteristics of the Motech M product range remain unchanged. The new series, for example, relies on the well-proven quick-change attachment system via stepped connection pins.
The REFORM rotary mower drive with adjustable blade protection and extensive cutter bar range as well as many other attachments are also available for the Motech M2.09 D and Motech M2.14 L. The system is rounded off by a selection of tyres and sprockets to suit the application.
The new Motech M models comply with the latest machinery directive EN12733:2018 and thus meet the latest safety standards.
