The first months since the ground-breaking ceremony have already passed - is everything still going according to plan?
Work is currently proceeding according to plan. This circumstance was of course also favoured by the good weather conditions. If there are no major delays due to unforeseen influences, completion will take place by the end of the year.
What has been the biggest challenge with regard to the construction site so far?
The biggest challenge so far was - in my opinion - the relocation of the server room. To ensure that the move went smoothly, a new main line had to be created for the plant-wide IT and media supply. The EDP network was completely rebuilt using this new supply line. The relocation of the servers could be carried out on a weekend without interrupting operations. Thanks to the great efforts of all involved, the server room was successfully put into operation.
What do you look forward to the most when the customer-employee center is finally finished?
Personally, I am very much looking forward to our new company restaurant. In addition to the snack and lunch menus, I could also imagine using the restaurant area as a meeting zone for short meetings in small groups in "all-day operation".
