Wels, 16. June 2025. Following more than 25 years in this role, CEO Reinhard Riepl‘s function is being trans-ferred to the experienced hands of Markus Wieshofer. Reinhard Riepl will leave the Reform Group at his own request on 30 June 2025. Mr Riepl has played a key role in shaping the company‘s strategy and will continue to support Reform Group in an advisory capacity until the end of 2025. „Reform Group was always more than just a place of work for me during these years that have seen some exciting major changes and successful re-organisation. I would like to emphasise in particular the cooperation based on trust with the main owner of the company, Clemens Malina-Altzinger,“ says Reinhard Riepl. „I am very pleased to know that this responsibility is now in the good hands of Markus Wieshofer.“
Appreciation and thanks
Chair of the Supervisory Board, Dr Clemens Malina-Altzinger, paid tribute to his long-time associate: „We would like to thank Reinhard Riepl most sincerely for his exceptional commitment and entrepreneurial vision. He has managed the company with a steady hand through times of rapid change, and we are sorry to see him leave.“ Reinhard Riepl originally joined the successful company based in Wels more than a quarter of a century ago as Head of Finance. In 2005, he was appointed to the Executive Board of Reform Group as Managing Director of Reform-Werke Bauer & Co GmbH. Appointment as CEO of the Group followed in 2019.
A new era for Reform Group
Markus Wieshofer has been with the company since 2023 and is the experienced and successful CSO who will assume the role of sole member of the Executive Board of Reform-Werke Bauer & Co Holding Aktiengesellschaft and Chair of the Executive Board of Reform-Werke Bauer & Co Gesellschaft m.b.H. Thanks to his extensive expertise in municipal technology, as demonstrated during his tenure as Managing Director at Rosenbauer, he will set a future-focused course in his new position. „Mr Wieshofer brings leadership skills, market and sales expertise, and the creative drive for shaping strategies,“ says Dr Clemens Malina-Altzinger. „We congratulate him on his new position and look forward to working together.“ Markus Wieshofer is particularly motivated to get started: „I am very pleased about the trust that has been placed in me with the new tasks ahead.
