The REFORM eBoki being tested in winter service

REFORM drives innovation in municipal vehicles

The eBoki demonstrator impresses in test use

The tried-and-tested and versatile REFORM Boki municipal vehicle is predestined for year-round use in local authorities - from green space maintenance to grounds maintenance and winter service. "The Boki is a multi-talented municipal vehicle. Its versatility and reliability, combined with high payloads, are highly valued in the industry," explains Product Manager Stefan Kurzmann. With its compact design and all-wheel steering, the Boki narrow track vehicle is not only extremely manoeuvrable, but also offers maximum comfort and a wide range of possible applications.

Now this proven and popular municipal vehicle is to take a big step into the future by being electrified. A demonstrator - the so-called eBoki - has been built. It is equipped with a powerful 400-volt lithium-ion battery and intelligent thermal management, which increases the available power and extends the service life of the battery.

The eBoki demonstrator is currently being tested in various environments and has already received positive feedback during test drives in the city of Wels and the municipality of Schladming. The development of a new municipal vehicle benefits from close cooperation with building yard managers.

Hannes Royer is the founder of "Land schafft Leben" and is also jointly responsible for snow clearance in Schladming and Rohrmoos. He was able to test the eBoki in Schladming and says: "What impressed me and my employees the most was the incredible performance. We were able to test the machine in extremely difficult operating conditions with steep inclines, snow and precipitation and were immediately impressed. Not only the enormous power, but also the comfort and very intuitive handling immediately made me a fan of the eBoki." He was particularly impressed by the efficient recuperation, as most of the power used when travelling uphill could be recovered on the descent.

With the eBoki municipal transporter, REFORM shows what a zero-emission and low-noise solution for versatile municipal applications can look like. With its combination of performance, sustainability and innovation, it is set to set new standards and open up new possibilities for the cities of tomorrow.
